What will become of Russian politics? Under Putin, it has struggled to emerge from its authoritarian past, and seems at times to be reverting to a less liberal framework. What economic, ethnic, and even epidemic challenges will confront the nation, and how will Russia respond?
Global AIDS
Perhaps the most ambitious project, the Global AIDS project follows the path of the epidemic and considers the consequences of its contagion. National projects (such as Botswana's Curse) debate the issues related to AIDS in the specific national context, oriented towards examining policy implications.
